Presented by Permission to Write in residence at Sip & Sonder
Join Permission to Write in residence at Sip & Sonder for a series that combines writing instruction and dedicated creation time. Each session begins with a 30-minute craft talk—sometimes featuring invited guests—followed by a full hour of focused writing time.
Whether you're developing an existing project or starting fresh, this series provides both structure and inspiration. Weekly prompts will be available for those seeking direction, but you're welcome to bring your own works-in-progress.
We'll journey from silencing your inner critic to finding your authentic voice, exploring effective structure, developing revision strategies, and preparing your work for readers. The series culminates in a supportive community reading where writers share their progress.
Bring your laptop, notebook, or just yourself—all you need is permission to write.
When: Sundays, 11:00am-12:30pm
Where: Sip & Sonder Inglewood, 108 S Market St, Inglewood, CA 90301
Cost: FREE (We do ask that you consider patronizing the business and/or making a donation to help PTW continue our work)
